Avid Art collector Alice Walton Major Museum

Avid collector, Wal-Mart Alice Walton a project to create a major American art museum in Arkansas.
This project is underway, foundation pouring began in October and it’s bringing a very high quality of art to an undeserved region. It's in northwest Arkansas, home of her late father’s company.
The glass-and-wood design by architect Moshe Safdie will cover 100,000 square feet when the museum opens in 2010.
Crystal Bridges is expected to bring in 250,000 visitors a year.
