Billionaire Art Collector Governor Resigns in Russia

Roman A. Abramovich is a billionaire Russian investor, a soccer club owner and a yachtsman.



Mr. Abramovich, an investor, an avid art collector resigned as governor of Chukotka, a region in Russia a 15-hour flight and nine time zones east of here.



For now, Mr. Abramovich will keep busy with his investment projects and philanthropy in the arts and sports.
