Dutch Painter Faker of Vermeers

The Forger's Spell: A True Story of Vermeer, Nazis and the Greatest Art Hoax of the Twentieth Century'' is published by Harper by Edward Dolnick.



Another book about van Meegeren, "The Man Who Made Vermeers'' by Jonathan Lopez, will be published by Harcourt on Aug. 21.
